Mini Explorers Preschool and Daycare offers a nature-based, play-based preschool program designed to give young children the freedom, time, and space to explore, create, move, and learn through hands-on experiences.

Our program is child-led and play-based, with teachers observing children’s interests and using those interests to guide meaningful learning opportunities. Children are encouraged to ask questions, make discoveries, solve problems, take appropriate risks, and develop independence through everyday experiences.

Our mostly outdoor learning environment provides opportunities for children to connect with nature, explore the changing seasons, learn about science and the natural world, and develop a sense of wonder and stewardship for their environment.

The preschool program also includes a part-time Forest School experience, giving children additional opportunities to learn and play in natural forest environments. Through regular forest experiences, children build confidence, resilience, creativity, physical skills, and a deeper connection to the outdoors.
